Chlorine

Chlorine is commonly used in generating various daily consumer products such as paper products, textiles, medicines, food, paints, and plastics, among many others. It is also used for producing safe drinking water worldwide.

 Chlorine is one of the major industrial chemicals today. AIP's capacity of Chlorine is sold to be used in Water Treatment and Power sectors, both in Kuwait and the Gulf region, although most of the world's Chlorine production is used in PVC manufacturing.

 Packing and Transportation

 Safety must be greatly taken into consideration during Chlorine transportation. That's why, most of the AIP sales include packing the product into the 1-tonne cylinders US fleet. The procedure we adopt is extremely strict and accurate to be totally in line with the most rigorous safety rules. Our specially-designed vehicles securely transport the cylinders and our expert drivers are well-trained to handle any emergency situation.    

 

Our bulk-delivery service of purpose-built and ISO tankers is very well-known for its efficiency in the packing and transportation process.

Newly acquired facility - Safewater Chemicals - UAE
Safewater owns a chlor-alkali plant producing Caustic Soda, Sodium Hypochlorite and Hydrochloric Acid
Alkout Industrial Projects Company has finished phase 1 of a 3 phase investment plan for their our newly acquired facility of Safe Water in Abu Dhabi. In this phase we have done a plant turnaround with major maintenance to improve reliability. The plant has been commissioned and is producing reliably according plan. We hope to finish phase two of the plan, another major expansion, in Q4 2012.
